Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney
Grant DeProw is the Chief Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Craighead County. His primary responsibilities include prosecution of major violent crimes, including homicides and aggravated robberies. Prior to joining the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Grant practiced law for 18 years, with a concentration in criminal defense, business, and real estate law. Grant received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1994 from Williams Baptist College, Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and is a 1997 graduate of the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis, Missouri. He has also taught at a variety of colleges and universities in courses related to his practice areas. He is a frequent speaker at civic organizations on matters of criminal justice and public law. He is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association; the Missouri Bar Association; and the Craighead County Bar Association.
